Posted On 23 May 2010 By admin
I'm sure everyone knows about 3D Dot Heroes by now, and if you still aren't really sure what it is, you can read our preview of the game here. It is basically a Zelda rip-off game for PS3. At the beginning of the game you can choose a premade character, or create your own. Someone had to make a Link character eventually, and now someone, Gamespy, has. ...

For those who remember, Zelda Wiki was one of the founding members of the Nintendo Independent Wiki Association, otherwise known as “NIWA” a few months back. This organization was created along with Bulbapedia and Super Mario Wiki. Now, and for the first time ever, a new member has been inducted: WiKirby!

Zora Mysteries
Posted On 22 May 2010 By admin
The Zora have been in many Zelda games and they often have an important role in Link’s quest to save Hyrule. Still, the Zora are quite weird creatures for general biology standards. When I was looking for more information about the Zora race we see in Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess, I [...]

Bring Back That Old-School Charm
Posted On 21 May 2010 By admin
With the success of recent releases Bit.Trip.Beat, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii - the last of which has quickly proved itself to be one of the best and fastest-selling games of all time - it's become pretty apparent that old-school style games are in high demand. And what else could we expect? These are the kinds of games that first-generation gamers grew up on, so there's already a deeply installed fan base to draw from - many of whom are now parents and are passing gaming down to their kids....

Buy Your Very Own Zelda Cereal Box
Posted On 21 May 2010 By admin
I know there are some pretty peculiar collectibles out there, even within the Zelda series, but a cereal box. Really? A flattened piece of cardboard that is 17 years old? Yeah, okay, some people out there may be interested in it. If that's you, then read on. A 1993 Apple Jack's Kellogg's Cereal box which originally came with a Zelda strategy map is for sale on eBay. Unfortunately the map isn't included, but if you have a 'gotta catch 'em all' attitude when it comes to Zelda memorabilia, why not this? There's only one available at US $8.95 which is 10% off, so it's a bargain I suppose... I'd be careful of this seller though, because he's claiming the box is in "new" condition. Check it out for yourself if you're a crazy collector, because I'd imagine a cereal box full of food from the supermarket would be cheaper....

Several months back I began a process of revamping the music section of Zelda Dungeon, but it ran into numerous problems, most notably where to host and stream the music from. After a couple months of being neglected, I’m hoping to get things back on track and it starts with the release of The Legend [...]
