Toon Link’s Twitter Account
Posted On 30 Nov 2011 By admin
Apparently, a Legend of Zelda fan has gone and made a Twitter account for Toon Link. Seems like a pretty fun, if not somewhat odd, idea to me. The posts at the Twitter account all revolve around different Legend of Zelda events, mostly focused around the Wind Waker, so anyone familiar with the franchise should [...]

Nintendo Dominates Japan: Skyward Sword Sells 200,000, 3DS Tops Charts
Posted On 30 Nov 2011 By admin
Nintendo has had a very good month. Not only are they doing well in the States, but they are dominating the scene in Japan right now. In its first week, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword sold 200,000 units in Japan alone, placing it the top of the software charts. Similar to what we saw on Black Friday here, Wii sales nearly doubled, selling 20,148 units last week. Some of those Wiis were no doubt purchased to play the new Zelda game. In addition to the Wii's success, the Nintendo 3DS is selling more than any other piece of hardware in Japan right now, including consoles....

Dorkly Bits: Boos Man Up
Posted On 30 Nov 2011 By admin
All I can do with this video is just laugh out loud. I mean, everyone who plays Mario games knows to face boos to stop them from moving. Personally, I dread levels with these guys because its a pain to avoid. Why do boos hide their faces and stop when you look at them? Well, Dorkly Bits has done another clever twist to solve this riddle, and it's just plain funny. I'm not really sure how green is more frightening than red though...what if one of them is color blind?...

Monster Hunter 3G Opening and Demo Details
Posted On 30 Nov 2011 By admin
Monster Hunter 3G is only about a week away from its release in Japan. To help get peopled revved up for the game, Capcom has released the opening movie for the game, and it's very different to Tri. There are many human players with different weapons, and some rather beastly monsters too. Not only that, but Capcom is taking full advantage of the upcoming eShop update that will allow publishers to put game demos up for download. In fact, they will have a game demo available for Monster Hunter 3G sometime soon. The quests last twenty minutes, and the users have a limited number of thirty plays. It will take 169 megabytes of free space on the SD card. Retailers will supposedly have the demo available tomorrow, which includes two quests. One is in an icy field and the other a water environment. There will be twelve weapons to choose from and the companions Cha Cha and Kaynab. The opening video is AMAZING, so you have to clickity click on the jump to see. I really hope to see this game come overseas....

Unfortunately it was only available in Canada so I wasn’t able to pick mine up… yet. I’ll eventually get one of these when I go on my next ebay shopping spree [...]
