Skyward Sword: Behind the Scenes of the Korean Player Commercials
Posted On 03 Nov 2011 By admin
Now, I'll be honest - there's footage after the jump, but it's not all that exciting. You don't even really see any video from the game itself! Why am I posting it, then? Well, it intrigues me because the basis for the commercial is essentially this: Nintendo locks Korean pop star Park Yoochun in a room for four days, puts a camera on him, and tells him to play Skyward Sword. What we're seeing aren't scripted responses, they're raw reactions to what's happening on screen. Does that color you interested? Then hop inside to see Yoochun get way too excited during what sounds like a boss encounter. (Yeah, you can't see the screen, but you can hear the music and sound effects!)...

Posted On 03 Nov 2011 By admin
While most of you probably know exactly what the game's first two dungeons are, in the interest of trying to keep the frontpage for this area as spoiler-free as possible I'm going to just assume that you're all totally ignorant until you click the jump. If you thought you knew everything about the first two areas of the game, think again: there are new hands-on details to be shared. Find out how using bombs feels, just how useful Dowsing is (or isn't), and a little more about things that don't use motion control after the jump....

Super Mario 3D Land Ships With 3DS Update
Posted On 03 Nov 2011 By admin
Much like many first party Wii games before it, Super Mario 3D Land will come with a firmware update that you must install before you can play the game. This update is separate from the one Nintendo announced a few weeks ago, so don't expect to get the new spot pass game or the much wanted ability to take 3D videos on your system. Instead, you'll get an updated friends list, which will allow you to join other players while they're in the middle of a game (depending on the title they're playing, of course). This of course being something we haven't seen on the 3DS before. The update will also strip the ability to use a flashcart with the 3DS. Jump inside for more, as well as some juicy new videos of the game in action. ...

Pokemon Reorchestrated Needs Your Help to Make Red and Blue Album a Reality
Posted On 03 Nov 2011 By admin
Most of you know about ZREO, and their efforts to create Twilight Symphony. A lesser known project is Pokemon Reorchestrated, which is in dire straights mostly to equipment limitations. The magic happens for them on what appears to be, at least in the video, a fairly old laptop which likely even lags doing the most basic of processes, let alone musical compositions. I know everyone and their mother likes to raise money for this and that, but really it's all about what causes you really want to support. Be it our site overhaul, childs play, ZREO, or Pokemon Reorchestrated, there are several ways to make your spare money matter to get the things you want....
