Massively Huge: Skyward Sword Text Dump Discovered
Posted On 08 Nov 2011 By admin
This is potentially the most potent rumor we've ever posted. Naturally, spoilers of terrible magnitude after the jump. It's a known fact that people are tearing through the data in Skyward Sword to extract various things - so far we've seen musical samples and of course tons of video, but now we've stumbled upon something huge: an alleged dump of the Skyward Sword game text. Now, it's not a complete dump - it's just a list of the various "major objectives" you'll encounter throughout the game - but it's still an overview basically every step of the main plot. I want to make clear that Zelda Informer did not create this dump. We're just the messengers. I also have no idea whether this thing is the real deal. I have no idea who created it or whether it comes from a legitimate copy - although it seems to come from a demo version. It of course fits pretty well with what we know, but then all "good rumors" do, true or false. So take everything you see here extremely delicately, both in terms of its content and its truth value. Hop inside... if you dare - we're getting tips...

Skyward Sword: Monolith Soft Credited, Involvement Unknown
Posted On 08 Nov 2011 By admin
So we here in the U.S. may not get the chance to play Xenoblade Chronicles, but that doesn't mean we won't get to enjoy the fruits of Monolith Soft's relationship with Nintendo. The first-party developer reportedly is credited for contributions to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. What exactly they did for the title is unknown, although with the game's greater focus on RPG elements I wouldn't be surprised if people from Monolith served as consultants in the creation of these pieces of the game. Similarly, Nintendo's Layton development partner Brownie Brown, previously responsible for Mother 3, was credited in Super Mario 3D Land. Again, what their involvement implies isn't yet out there, but we might find out this weekend when the game launches in the States....
