Sears & Target are also getting ready for the holidays this season for us gamers. Sears is bringing us a Black Nintendo Wii with New Super Mario Bros for $135, while Target is offering a Nintendo 3DS bundle with Super Mario 3D Land for $180. Tis the season folks, tis the season. It's no secret our site's Zelda roots have completely dominated the headlines the last month. Skyward Sword this, Skyward Sword that, spoilers here, bitching about spoilers over there. Tom McShea bashing the control scheme while admitting he played the game in an unintended fashion, and our apparently controversial 4.5/5 Skyward Sword review. This site has been showing it's Zelda roots hardcore the last month, almost completely ignoring the fact that Super Mario 3D Land arrived on the 3DS last week. Skyward Sword is arguably the biggest Nintendo release since Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Entertainment System. There are less than 24 hours to launch and we are definitely doing our part. Today we will have both the spoiler free and the 100% Skyward Sword Walkthrough guides completed. Beyond that, we will actually physically be present at a Midnight Launch Party at a local Gamestop in California handing out business cards, free Zelda themed T-Shirts, and naturally talking about all things Zelda for anyone who cares. Game Informer did a replay on the Zelda game(s) us true Zelda fans refuse to acknowledge.. The CD-i Zelda game series. This series is really heavily known for it's cheesy cutscenes, voice acting, and just in general spawning Internet memes. Now there is no doubt in my mind that I was NOT surprised to be seeing Game Informer replay these. They were by far the worst Zelda games ever made, if you even consider them true Zelda games. The best part of this game? You just gotta throw a book at Ganon to defeat him. A YouTube user by the name of ArtificialFear made a metal version of the Skyward Sword main theme. The song sounded amazing to me, and it really made it sound a little better. Do note that I am not a metal fan, and actually got into this, not because I'm a Zelda fan, but because the beat sounded good with it.
