Featured SS Thread: Flying the Loftwing

The newest form of transportation presented to us in Skyward Sword deviated from the methodical engagement of travel presented to us in previous games – typically in the form of a horse. This is in league with the way Spirit Tracks threw at us a completely different form of transportation, but taken to a completely [...]

Metroid II: The Return of Samus on 3DS This Thursday
Posted On 22 Nov 2011 By admin
If you've been feeling a twinge of disappointment about the 3DS's online offerings (as I often have, truth be told), there's at least something pretty awesome coming down the pipes this week: Nintendo revealed that the handheld follow-up to the original Metroid, Metroid II: The Return of Samus is making its way to the eShop this Thursday. It's quite possible that of the main-series Metroid games, this is the least-played entry, and that's a damned shame, as Metroid II, despite being monochromatic, is (next to Super Metroid, of course) in my view the definitive Metroid experience....

OCRemix Surprises Us With 25th Anniversary Tribute Album
Posted On 22 Nov 2011 By admin
Video not working? Try the Youtube Mirror. I like OCRemix. Scratch that, I LOVE OCRemix. I'd bend over for OCRemix any day. The best video game remixes in the world originated on that site. Serious Monkey Business stands as one of the best collection of video game remixes in the world. And now they've one and done something completely unexpected - they posted a brand new, unannounced Zelda remix album, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the series. Combined with the symphony CD that came with Skyward Sword, this might just be too much Zelda music to handle. That's how I always wanted to go anyhow....
