Erica During Her Midnight Release For Skyward Sword

I mentioned a while ago that I was helping out with the midnight launch of Skyward Sword at my local GameStop. I had small cards made to pass out for the ZeldaInformer Walkthrough, and brought all five of my Zelda themed ocarinas. I even brought my recent addition to my small collection, which is the 12-hole Ocarina of Time model made by SongBirdOcarina. I'm going to be honest. I wasn't sure what to expect with this midnight release. This particular store was the only one in the area that was even having a launch event. I don't know many Zelda fans besides the few friends I have converted over the years as well. I never really got to branch out and converse with big Zelda fans until I joined ZeldaInformer. In case some of you don't know, that girl in the main picture is me. That is my cat's, Link, tail too. I have a Link hat, and a friend lent me elf ears for the event. I had to put them on upside down because my ears were too small, but I think they look more Hylian that way. I also brought the Hylian shield and Master Sword that...

In honor of the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo of America created a Zelda-themed room at their headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Skyward Sword Manga Headed Your Way

Akira Himekawa, the duo behind the officially licensed Legend of Zelda manga that has been released over the years, have confirmed, through their twitter account and the January 2012 issue of Nintendo Dream magazine, that they are already working on a manga adaptation of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The manga will be loosely based on the game, but it's hard to say how far it will actually deviate. The Ocarina of Time manga was loosely based, but it wasn't far from the mark....
