Even before Nintendo announced the Wii U at E3 this year, speculation had already begun over when the next generation of video game consoles would begin. Now that we know that the Wii U is coming, everyone has been asking when Sony and Microsoft will follow suit.
This week there have been rumblings concerning the Playstation 4 and XBox 720. Yes, there has been talk in the past concerning the eventual consoles, but previous comments were just in response to persistent questions and offered little specifics. Comments made this week concerning Sony and Microsoft, while still vague, do help narrow down when the Wii U should meet its rivals.
