Trio of Japanese Skyward Sword TV Commercials
Posted On 10 Dec 2011 By admin
The Japanese really are an excitable bunch of people. A simple Skyward Strike has never been quite as exciting as this girl seems to find it. It's also good to see Link getting dominated in one of these, instead of always looking like the pro that he is in advertisements. But, wait what's this? Is that some waggling and flailing instead of precise swordplay, in an official Skyward Sword commercial? Uh oh, looks like Tom McShea was just given an opening. It's true that you can be lazy and fight with mere wrists flicks, but why show that instead of the intended and fully functional one-to-one controls? Well, at least it shows her failing when "flailing", and succeeding with accurate strikes!...

Free Gameboy Advance Games Still Set For 2011: Apparently
Posted On 10 Dec 2011 By admin
How many days left in this year? Something like, twenty? Well, whatever, it seems as though that doesn't bother Nintendo: apparently, Nintendo 3DS ambassadors will still be attaining their ten free Gameboy Advance games for Christmas... at least, that's what Nintendo's Customer Service is claiming. There's been no official date issued by the Big N, so whether this news come to light or not remains to be seen. Take it with a grain of 16-bit salt. And trust me, that's not much salt. So far we know that the games we will be rewarded with include, but are not limited to, Metroid Fusion, Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgame$, Mario vs. Donkey: March of the Minis and, apparently, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. What can we also expect from the Big N? Minish Cap? Pokémon? I'd personally like to see the Nintendo-published RPG favourite Golden Sun, which is also one of my favourite RPGs of all time. We can't know for sure, but we can only hope! Jump inside for the quote by Nintendo Customer Services....
