Download High-Quality Skyward Sword Soundtrack Rip
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
We told you about OSTProject's low-quality Skyward Sword soundtrack rip shortly after they originally uploaded it. If you remember, they posted it with a note stating that they were in possession of a high-quality rip, but they were still in the process of tagging and naming all the tracks. They have since updated with this high-quality version, which is available for download. While the soundtrack features 171 tracks total, I don't think we can call this a complete rip. More inside....

Nine Upcoming Nintendo Channel Downloads for Europe
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
Nintendo has unveiled several new release dates for download in Europe. Among them are great titles like Flipper, and Antipole. They will arrive on the Nintendo Shop Channel, the eShop, and the DSiWare shop. I personally don't use the Nintendo channel too much, as their games lose value pretty quickly and they're far too expensive for my tastes. With things like this, I'd prefer the iOS prices, as they're loads of fun and are much cheaper. Even the 3DS Ambassador games for the NES lost their appeal. What can we expect from Nintendo in the near future? Can we expect greater games, at hopefully lower prices? Follow me after the jump. ...

Dragon Quest 3DS Scan Emerges
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
Remember a few months ago when Dragon Quest 3DS was announced? This is the Dragon Quest, formerly known as Dragon Warrior Monsters on the Gameboy Color, remade and extended, on the 3DS. A scan for it has emerged, and man, I loved this game! I'm excited to see how they plan to make it better with the new monsters. I remember clocking over 600 hours into this game as a kid, getting every single monster, getting the best monster in the game, which required approximately 30 different breeds, to that moment when it hatched, and completely stomped the arena with friends. Whoops, that's enough of my reminiscing. Anyways, the scan is after the break....

Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure – New Videos!
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
A while back, I reported on a rhythm game for the 3DS that was titled much differently than it is now, and that game has an English name -and- a stated release window for us: Rhythm Thief & The Emperor's Treasure, slated for early 2012. This jam-packed game stars Raphael, a student with a secret life as a famed Phantom Thief who's famous among Parisians for stealing legendary paintings, only to return them a few days later. Now he's got to solve all manner of rhythmic riddles in order to solve the mysteries of Paris as well as discover just what's happened to his missing father amidst all of it! But we've also been given some videos, which while in JP without subs, still provide insight to the opening story with a little thinking... and show just how beautiful the animation really is. Hit the jump to take a look!...

Link Gains Heart Containers By Eating… The Legend of Zelda: Heart Containers
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
There are a lot of talented people on YouTube and we feature their work all the time, but every now and then one just stands out from the crowd. In this case, AnthonyFazio created a nice parody explaining just how exactly Link absorbs new hearts. It's not the best work I have seen parody wise, but it's definitely entertaining. I didn't want to gouge my eyes out by the end, that's for sure. Oh and for those wondering, I'm back. I apologize greatly for my absence the last few weeks and it's completely inexcusable and unfair to the rest of our staff team, which have done a stupendous job in my leave. Yes, I'm still seeing this girl, but I'm setting aside my personal life to make sure all of you get the coverage you deserve. So, have you all beaten Skyward Sword yet? If not, be sure to check out our Skyward Sword Walkthrough....

Zelda Dungeon Forum User AnthonyFazio recently created a Zelda parody cartoon showing how Link absorbs heart containers. It’s a pretty short and sweet clip and it really gets you thinking… how does Link actually turn those heart containers into his own health? All we ever see is Link hoisting them over his head and suddenly [...]

Skyward Sword’s Final Boss Beaten in Under 30 Seconds
Posted On 11 Dec 2011 By admin
I'll admit, it took me awhile to beat the final boss in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. After a couple tries, I got it down to a science and was even able to get through the first phase of the battle in a matter of seconds. However, to do the same with the second phase is nothing short of impressive and is something I will have to attempt whenever I get around to replaying the game in Hero Mode. Youtube user R151NGT3MP357 managed to beat the final boss in just under 30 seconds, and has uploaded a video of the feat. Needless to say, if you haven't beaten Skyward Sword yet and don't want to be spoiled, don't watch this video....
