Miyamoto Hints at Retro Studios Developing a Future Zelda Title
Posted On 13 Dec 2011 By admin
Hell yes! We like Retro Studios a lot around here. With a resume including Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong Country Returns and the assist in Mario Kart 7, we've even hailed them as the "new Rareware". Long have we wanted to see a Zelda title in their hands, and by the sounds of a recent quote from from Shigeru Miyamoto, he fancies the idea as well. The following is but an extract from the full quote: As you know, we have already collaborated with Retro for the Metroid Prime series in the past. And I think when we talk about any other franchise, Zelda might be a possible franchise for that collaboration. Come on inside for everything that Miyamoto had to say....

Monster Hunter Tri G Sold Nearly Half A Million Copies
Posted On 13 Dec 2011 By admin
That's right, but I should narrow it down and say that Monster Hunter Tri G sold nearly half a million copies IN THE FIRST TWO DAYS. Enterbrain has revealed this information, and sales are still going crazy in Japan. The Nintendo 3DS had its best week yet there, with 378,114 units sold. This is in Japan, where the Nintendo 3DS has finally crossed its three million mark in sales. I already posted about the game being sold out in some retail stores. This is fantastic news for Capcom and Nintendo. Major games like these will definitely help make the slow starting handheld thrive. Sadly, when I think of the wireless gameplay I get a little nervous. Monster Hunter Tri G only has local multiplayer. It's different in the West than it is in Japan, where it isn't hard to find another player to trade items with and chat about the game. The game does well on its own without the multiplayer, but it is a small let down. Nonetheless, I'd love to see this game localized....
