Reddit user alycenwonderland recently posted pics of their own hand painted gold nunchuck with Hylian Crest. Code of Princess Gameplay Trailer
Posted On 13 Jan 2012 By admin
I don't think we've acknowledged Code of Princess even once here at ZI. The Nintendo 3DS title was announced months ago, but its announcement and a good portion of the news released afterwards was centered around the main character, who is basically a girl wearing practically nothing. It's hard to take these games seriously; there are a lot of them out there and they are not often critically acclaimed. A trailer for the game was released today, and I have to say it doesn't look bad. It actually looks pretty great. ...

Rumor: Retro Working on Metroid Wii U
Posted On 13 Jan 2012 By admin
With the news that Retro Studios, the American-based team behind the Metroid Prime trilogy, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Mario Kart 7, had acquired former employees of Vigil Games and Naughty Dog, everyone's mind jumped to Zelda. No, I don't think they are working on a Zelda game, but I couldn't help but think about it at the time, in light of Nintendo's recent comments concerning Retro and how they would trust them of all their internal aquisitions to work on a new Zelda title. Now there's a rumor that Retro is actually working on Metroid Wii U, which is a more logical theory to jump to....

Wii U: It’s All About The Launch Games
Posted On 13 Jan 2012 By admin
For those of you who have been following the minor tidbits of Wii U news Nintendo has been dishing out over the last few months, you'd know that Nintendo is doing everything in their power to ensure that the Wii U doesn't make the same mistake the Nintendo 3DS had - they want to make the system powerful, they're working on providing a thorough online experience, and, most of all, they want to give their new next-gen device a strong software launch line-up. The "software drives hardware" approach is definitely a wise route to take, and in recent years, it's been the approach Nintendo has adopted in assuring their successes. Would the Wii have been as successful as it was if it hadn't been bundled with Wii Sports, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess hadn't been standing alongside the system back in the November of 2006? Would the 3DS have finally started to have gained momentum if Nintendo hadn't prepared Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 for 2011's holiday season? Rest assured, Nintendo know what they're doing with the Wii U's launch. The only question is: which first-party software can we expect to see from the Big...

WiiWare Demos Are All Available to Download
Posted On 13 Jan 2012 By admin
Nintendo has had some strange patterns with their WiiWare demos. They would release them one at a time, and then pull them off a few weeks later. Apparently, however, they are all back on the WiiWare store. All 50 titles are available for download. Please be aware that this is only in North America, and word from the rest of the world is still unknown. The demos are free, and as of right now, we do not know if this is an error or not. Let's hope Nintendo is using this to answer our wishes, and that it's not a mistake! Source: Nintendo Everything...
