Darksiders 2 Creator Joe Madureira Would Love To Produce A Zelda Comic Book
Posted On 25 Jan 2012 By admin
Anyone who's heard of the Xbox 360/Playstation 3 action-adventure title Darksiders knows that it has often been compared to The Legend of Zelda... with a little bit of God of War mixed into things too, for good measure. So it's no surprise that the creator of the series, Joe Madureira, also an established comic book writer responsible for such works as Battlechasers, Uncanny X-Men, Deadpool and The Ultimates for Marvel, revealed to CVG that he would hold an intense interest in reproducing Nintendo's age-old adventure story of the Hero of Hyrule in comic book form. Unfortunately, we all know that it's often tricky enough just to convince Nintendo to allow a third-party to produce Japanese manga for the series - let alone, well, you know, a westernised comic book series. Hell, we have no idea how many Hollywood producers have confronted Nintendo about translating the popular series into a feature film! Would a comic book be more likely? Could Nintendo jump on this sort of opportunity? Would you be excited if such creative events were to transpire?...

Kid Icarus: Uprising European Release Date Announced, Details Revealed
Posted On 25 Jan 2012 By admin
Still waiting on Kid Icarus: Uprising? I know I am! The action-adventure game, directed by the man responsible for the Smash Bros and Kirby series, is sure to be a top hit on the 3DS platform, translating Pit's mythological world into a new dimension, and a grand journey. Well Europeans, mark your calendars, because we know for a fact now that the game will be released on the 23rd of March - the same day as the North American release date. As well, we've had word that the European game will be packaged with that plastic stand that Sakurai seems to think you need in order to play the game comfortably - I believe this is due to the fact that some segments of the game demand that the player uses the circle pad and the stylus in conjunction... and, well, you know, humans don't have that many hands to pull this off so well....

Kingdom Hearts 3D Soundtrack Listing Appears on Amazon
Posted On 25 Jan 2012 By admin
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance is really getting the gold treatment from Square-Enix! Not only is it one of the prettiest, most colorful games to grace the Nintendo 3DS, not only is it the most substantial new S-E RPG to hit a Nintendo system in years, it's also set to receive a retail soundtrack release. According to the product's Amazon listing, it'll span three discs and will come to stores April 18, just a couple short weeks after the game's debut on March 29. Personally I've always enjoyed the music from this series, and while these kinds of soundtrack releases seldom come stateside the prospect will keep me crossing my fingers in the meantime....
