Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
The Game Boy Kid Icarus is said to come out on Virtual Console soon. Actually, it is apparently supposed to come out NEXT WEEK. Nintendo announced today that on February 8th, which is next week's Nintendo download update, Kid Icarus of Myth and Monsters is coming. The strange news? This Game Boy title was released in North America in 1991 and Europe in 1992. That means that these two titles were never released in Japan. The name and all in-game text is in English, and from what i can see it's all the original goodness we love!...

Pokemon X Nobunaga’s Ambition To Be Region Locked
Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
Well, sad news for those who were looking forward to the new Pokemon game. This battle strategy game with Pokemon is set to be region locked due to using DSi enhanced features. Nintendo has yet to specify what these features are, but importing the title will be rather difficult. There is still no signs of a Western release. The game has a strategy battle system with six allies versus six enemy units. All of the units are Pokemon, with special skills based on their type. The generals also have special "busho powers", like the ability to heal. Outside of the battles, you will have to prepare your army. You use your "link" with Pokemon to befriend them in the wild to raise your forces. You can also scout generals for your army, and there are still more to come. ...

Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
Mirror Here The Last Story is coming out for release in Europe soon, and Nintendo has uploaded a trailer to show off a couple of the main characters. You can hear some of the English voice acting, though it is faint in some areas when music is playing. The game is set for release on February 24th in Europe. There are many explosions and other fun things in the video. If you are afraid of spoilers, don't watch. There isn't much that I can get out of it though since the voices are faint....

Places like Burger King, Subway, McDonald's and hotel chains will allow your 3DS to automatically connect to these networks. The press release also encourages Nintendo 3DS owners to update their systems with the latest System Update that brought a number of new features to the 3DS like video capture. This action is being used by Nintendo through partnering up with free-hotspot.com. Kind of makes me wish there were more hotspots near where I live, so I could check in when I'm out and about. Zelda Cosplay, Piano Cover, and Bagpipes
Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
YouTuber ridia84 is a musician and a pretty hardcore Zelda fan. In the image you see to the left, you can see her playing a piano cover of the classic Legend of Zelda overworld theme, while in a Link costume. I’m not sure what the best part about this particular cover is. The actual song, [...]

Pokemon Meets Street Fighter in Epic Fan-Made Game
Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
When I first started watching the video for this, I assumed it was just going to be a spoof, but then, after about half-a-minute in, I realized it was too legit to be a spoof. This video was footage from an actual fan-made game. The game, which is currently in BETA, is a cross between Pokemon and Street Fighter, in which Pokemon battles are held in a Street Fighter playing field. ...

Wii U Tech Specs Still Not Set in Stone?
Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
Well this is interesting. According to Team Ninja (developer behind the, um, "slightly" gory Ninja Gaiden III, which is on its way to the Wii U), the technical specifications of the Wii U are "changing constantly." Seems as though it's not only the name that might change in the near future. Speaking to NGamer (as related by Eurogamer), Team Ninja also had some more information on developing for the new console that echoes similar statements from other development studios on the Wii U.
