Earlier this week, the Pokemon games Director Junichi Masuda sent out tweets about an upcoming announcement. Well, it was aired on Pokemon Smash, and it was quite the announcement.
Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 are set to come out this June. They are follow-ups to Pokemon Black/White, and are the first of their kind. When I say that, I mean they are the very first games from Pokemon that we see two direct sequels. Normally we see a third "expansion", but this totally blows that out of the water.
The game is set for Japan, but it looks like localization for other countries is already under way!
They also revealed the new Kyurem; the Pokemon games mascots. I think they look a bit more dangerous than Reshiram and Zekrom. If you look at the image shared, the black Pokemon is in front of a black background and the white Pokemon is in front of a white background. This is different from the previous titles.
They have also revealed official websites, which you can see after the jump. It doesn't have any more information at the moment but we will be keeping an eye on it!
