We've known Assassin's Creed has been coming to Wii U since last year, but what we didn't know was just how Ubisoft was planning on introducing the franchise to Nintendo home consoles. A recent announcement making its way around the Internet reporting the 2012 lineup clears up that mystery, however: the long-awaited Assassin's Creed 3 is going to debut on Wii U.
The only other Wii U title confirmed to be coming this year from Ubisoft is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online, which we saw demoed at E3 last year, and the only other new game confirmed for a Nintendo system is Just Dance Final Party. Aside from that, all Nintendo fans know to look forward to are Prince of Persia Virtual Console downloads on Wii and 3DS.
