deviantARTist zorn981 has some of the most unique Zelda artwork I’ve ever seen. Not only that, but he also puts some more mature content into them by adding some sexuality to the [...]

Expect Hundreds of Kid Icarus Uprising AR Cards
Posted On 03 Mar 2012 By admin
The last time I discussed how many AR cards might come with the upcoming Kid Icarus: Uprising, I figured it might be six (based on the six random cards we know will come with the game), maybe nine at the most (allotting for some standard non-random cards of the main characters). It has since been revealed that there will be hundreds of Kid Icarus AR cards. Now, this obviously doesn't mean the game is going to come with hundreds of prepackaged cards, but it does mean the Kid Icarus team is intending a bit more than we previously expected. ...

IGN has continued to release their interview with Eiji Aonuma and this time around it concerns the discussion of the story and complexity in Zelda. GGCA Part 3 – Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Posted On 03 Mar 2012 By admin
There's always a bit of a danger when you're approaching an entry in a beloved series. Even if it's one that's as contentious as Mario Kart: Double Dash!! seems to be within Mario Kart fan circles, there are always those who hold it dear and will get angry if anyone besmirches their game or claims that another, more popular entry is better. Like, if I were to say that Mario Kart Wii is better than Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, I absolutely know that there would be a pretty vocal contingent of people who would think I was crazy. I'm going to do my damndest to avoid ranking the Mario Kart games. The only thing I'll say is that I truly believe that Mario Kart 7 is the greatest Mario Kart game yet made, and that Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is... not one of my favourites. That absolutely doesn't mean that it's a bad game. In fact, it's often just as thrilling and fun as its brethren, and even some of the oft-criticized changes to the formula are pretty interesting. It's in the tiniest of details where Double Dash!! falters, and in a series as consistent (and often, unchanging) as...

What are Your Top 5 Favorite NES Games?
Posted On 03 Mar 2012 By admin
Taking the whole world back to the Famicon/NES days is always fun, because retro gaming is truly a joy (well, for me it is). Games were much simpler, but more importantly games were just about having a hell of a lot of fun. While this console was hardly the grandfather of gaming, it did make it more mainstream by popularizing and reinvigorating the in house video game experience. The Nintendo Entertainment System stands as major turning point for what wasn't really even considered a mainstream industry in the 1980's. The fact so many gamers can still get joy out of the games created during that era is a true testament to video gaming's lasting appeal. So, for those of us that have delved deep into the depths of the NES library, or for those who have only scratched the surface... what's your top 5 favorite NES games? My list is after the jump....

Read an Interview with a Hyrule Historia Fan Translator
Posted On 03 Mar 2012 By admin
For the past few years, one of the major players in the Zelda translating scene has undoubtedly been GlitterBerri - it's largely due to her that we've been receiving accurate translations of information contained within the Hyrule Historia, the (so far) Japan-only Zelda timeline, history and art book. Nintendo Gamer recently conducted an interview with GlitterBerri, and while there isn't much in the way of new information about the Historia in this interview, it's certainly an interesting read for those who are interested in translation or the Zelda series in general. Jump inside for a few of the highlights from the interview....
