Artist Olly Moss recently posted his submission for Land Gallery's Triforce Tribute show, and it is a most epic Zelda poster. Not only is the design itself graphically simple yet clever, but the text of the poster is in Japanese, making it five time cooler. If Final Fantasy VII Gets a Remake, Should It Come to 3DS?
Posted On 05 Feb 2012 By admin
I stumbled upon an article by Chris Buffa at Modojo that suggested that the long-rumored Final Fantasy VII remake that everyone but Square seems to want should actually come to 3DS. And, having taken a second crack at the game in recent weeks - I never had the time to devote to it the first time I tried it - I have to say that I kind of agree with him. (This is, of course, ignoring the fact that the 3DS should get brand-new titles and not just remakes.) Now, Chris's argument focuses mostly on how it's time for Final Fantasy to come back to its original home on Nintendo systems, but he does touch on a point that I think is worth discussing. Find out what that point is after the jump. ...

Fan Plays Every Zelda Game in a Month, Resulting In Epic Timeline Essay
Posted On 05 Feb 2012 By admin
Before Nintendo went ahead and revealed the big secret that was the official Zelda timeline, one fan was taking steps to prepare what could be the longest timeline article ever written. The fan in question, Zach, made his way through every single Zelda game in a month (save the CD-I titles, of course), in an attempt to gather as much information as possible before embarking on his essay. Zach had to change his approach after Nintendo spilt the beans, but he still pressed on. Instead of trying to determine the order of the timeline, Zach instead sought to detail out Nintendo's timeline. ...

Pokemon Meets Street Fighter in Epic Fan-Made Game
Posted On 01 Feb 2012 By admin
When I first started watching the video for this, I assumed it was just going to be a spoof, but then, after about half-a-minute in, I realized it was too legit to be a spoof. This video was footage from an actual fan-made game. The game, which is currently in BETA, is a cross between Pokemon and Street Fighter, in which Pokemon battles are held in a Street Fighter playing field. ...

Beautiful Fan-Made Trailer for Non-Existant Wind Waker Sequel
Posted On 30 Jan 2012 By admin
Canadian animator Joel Furtado longingly awaits a HD Wind Waker sequel, which he thinks would be perfect for the Wii U. Personally, I think it's never going to happen because 1) Nintendo has relegated the Wind Waker style to handheld Zelda titles and 2) I think we're all ready for a different art style considering the Wind Waker style has been overused at this point. Like many artist types who dream of their ideal Zelda atheistic, he has put his ideas to paper, resulting in a fan-made trailer for a game that doesn't exist, called The Legend of Zelda: The Lost Oracle. Like all fan art, this was done in Furtado's spare time, but, despite that, it still looks quite awesome. ...

The Zelda Informer Black/White League Is Looking For New Challengers
Posted On 27 Jan 2012 By admin
Do you have what it takes to be the next champion? As a representative of the ZI BW League, I cordially invite you to join the ZeldaInformer Pokemon Black and White League! ZeldaInformer has quite a forum community. I was rather amazed to find this particular group of fans having fun on the forums, but upon further exploration it's easy to see it's a worthwhile activity if you love Pokemon. The ZI Black/White League originally started as a joint project by Zelda and Pokémon fans that were looking for a competitive battling experience. Now, it has enlarged the Pokemon part of the site to rival (but certainly not surpass) the Zelda forums. For more information, clickity click the jump or hop into our forums to see for yourself!...
