The last time I discussed how many AR cards might come with the upcoming Kid Icarus: Uprising, I figured it might be six (based on the six random cards we know will come with the game), maybe nine at the most (allotting for some standard non-random cards of the main characters). It has since been revealed that there will be hundreds of Kid Icarus AR cards. Now, this obviously doesn't mean the game is going to come with hundreds of prepackaged cards, but it does mean the Kid Icarus team is intending a bit more than we previously expected. ...

Uggie is Nintendo's first Spokesdog, and is helping the company out by using his adorableness to promote Nintendogs + Cats. He also seems to really enjoy playing on his pink Nintendo 3DS. The touch screen controls much make it much easier for him to play. Nintendo of America has released a few photos of this canine superstar, and it's rather cute. Any dog lover would love to see the photos, so why not give them a quick look? Uggie is Nintendo's first Spokedog, though he doesn't really speak to us humans. Maybe he can help Nintendo cater to their four legged audience?...

Resident Evil: Revelations is probably one of the best games currently on the Nintendo 3DS. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it's a Resident Evil game that stands pretty well on its own in the series. The game was very well received, and is the second game from Resident Evil to be developed for the Nintendo 3DS. Masachika Kawata, the producer behind the series, has told IGN that the success of Revelations has inspired him to develop another Resident Evil game exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. Sadly, he is currently working on other projects that need to be taken care of first. Still, it seems like the praise for Revelations is inspirational. While Bravely Default: Flying Fairy for the Nintendo 3DS is being published and distributed by Square Enix, it has been a mystery as to which studio has actually been in charge of developing the game. Many had assumed that Matrix, the team behind the remakes of Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, and Four Warriors of Light, was somehow involved, but it turns out that game is actually being made by Silicon Studio. ...

Another color is being released for the Nintendo 3DS, and it's a beautiful cobalt blue. The system is being released in Japan on March 22nd for the usual price for the system. Cosmo Black, Aqua Blue, Flair Red, Misty Pink and Ice White are the other colors for the system already out. That wouldn't include all the collector 3DS' we have seen come out in the past year, and it looks like there are a few of those as well! Fire Emblem Awakening is being bundled with this Cobalt Blue 3DS in a "Special Pack" bundle. It is being sold exclusively via Nintendo's online sales service. The buyers get a Fire Emblem point card as a free bonus along with the game and special 3DS. Nintendo has also announced two Monster Hunter 3G Beginner Hunters Packs due for release on March 17th. The Super Mario 3D Land bundles will begin including a Virtual Console version of Super Mario Bros. pre-installed on the 3DS' Memory Card starting on March 24th.
